I already have a Sport Connect Username and Password, because my child participates in other sports in town. Do I need to create a new account?
No need to create a new account. You can click login and use the same username and password you have with the other organization. It will then ask you to confirm the email address associated with the account.
If you do not know the information or want a new username, you can scroll down and click "Continue Creating New Account" once you see the notification that the email address is already in use.
What grade level do I use to register my child?
For placement, use the grade your child will be in the fall.
Can I place my child in an advanced class?
A child can move to another class based on the instructor’s assessment of skills.
Can I leave my children unattended?
Supervision is not provided for children who are not in their scheduled class.
We recommend that parents of children who might need special assistance stay at the courts during the class.
Can I get a refund if our schedule changes and we can’t attend?
No refunds. Changes are allowed if requested at least 2 weeks before the beginning of class. Credit will be given for a future class.
Will the schedule be modified during the summer?
FTA reserves the right to cancel, add or combine classes based on enrollments.
Can I make up a rain day or a missed class?
Yes. If more than 50% of a class is cancelled, you may request a pro-rated refund or credit for future classes.
Please contact [email protected] to request a pro-rated refund. Be sure to include the name of the participant as well as the date and time of the class for which you are requesting a refund.
FTA will cancel outdoor activities whenever the Air Quality Index is at a rating of Unhealthy or worse determined on this website:
http://data.fnsb.us/airquality/AQNearRealTime.
In the event that more than 50% of a paid program is cancelled (other than Middle/High School), classes will be rescheduled (at the coach's discretion) or refunded (at the player/parent request).

What equipment is needed?
Bring your racquet, tennis shoes and water. No sandals, crocs or flip flops allowed on the courts. You can borrow racquets from FTA during your scheduled class.
What if I would like private lessons?
Private, semi private and group lessons will be posted when available.
Lessons can be scheduled directly with tennis instructors, but registration is required via the FTA website (www.fairbankstennis.com).
Are the courts open to the public?
At least one court is always available to the public, with the exception of tournaments and special events.
FTA event will be publicized at the Dan Ramras Community Tennis Courts.
How will I know if classes are cancelled?
We will do our best to announce class cancellations as soon as possible
In most cases, class cancellations due to rain or smoke will be announced via text to the number provided at registration at least 15 minutes prior to the start.
However, weather conditions can change quickly and if weather conditions look favorable, we will attempt to hold classes.

Do I need to be an FTA member to participate in FTA programs?
FTA membership is included in all paid FTA programs.
Membership fees are very important to support the operating costs to offer our classes at affordable rates.

Does FTA offer scholarships?
Scholarships are available for children eligible for reduced or free school lunch.
Qualified individuals are eligible for a scholarship for one camp and one session, OR middle school OR high school program.
Scholarships are for 2/3 of the program fees.
